We utilize it to see how we will get paid out based on each month's performance. It's Crucial to understand where we are in terms of OTE. The best part of Spiff team versus other vendors is the availability to access assistance when we are not finding the results we need.

It’s simple to use and works with what we need it for. Moving away from chaotic spreadsheets and manual processes has been such a relief. It also allows us to get better insights into our compensation cycle and ensure that any mistakes are ironed out in a timely manner. It’s highly efficient.

We use Spiff to automate commissions and at the same time provide visibility to the users of their commission calculation. The product solves a variety of main problems: (1) Accuracy of the commission calculation, (2) Speed of the commission calculation, (3) Visibility of the commission calculation process. In addition, the use case extends to document managements related to commissions.

Spiff is well suited for a company that has complex commission structure (e.g tier-based + extra kickers) and that is growing. The reason is because its functionalities allow us to create logic or formulas that are quite flexible and able to accommodate any change in the commission calculations and enable admins to filter the data with sets of logic that Spiff feeds from without having to change the data in the original source.

Spiff provides clear visibility into my monthly commission earnings from sales. Previously it was done via excel spreadsheets, so this is much more user friendly to see the breakdown and be able to have clear visibility into past months commission without searching for previously sent emails.

In my experience with Spiff so far, it has been helpful to see the breakdown of commissions by individual sale. It also easily breaks down subcategories (such as professional services which is a different calculation than SaaS). I love the ability to quickly go back to previous months to be able to cross reference with my own records of what has been recorded within each month.

I use Spiff to monitor and confirm my monthly sales commissions. Spiff helps me stay on track with my monthly quota and how I will be getting paid once my goals are met. I use Spiff to confirm that the goals met align with the amount paid out. I also track how I have improved month over month using the commission trend tool.

Spiff helps us manage our commissions process, reporting and reconciliation. Before Spiff, we used a combination of excel, SFDC reports, and Google Sheets. Spiff brings everything together in one platform and has powerful reporting capabilities that helps finance and operations manage our process. The support from Spiff has been top notch and implementation was a breeze.

Spiff works great as our commission management platform. We have 10-20 sales reps so not sure how it scales beyond that but for us, it works great! Their support staff are super helpful and friendly. We use Spiff to track sales performances and manage the On Target Earnings of our team, the application is pretty intuitive and user friendly, I love the funny UI and they way you can drill down into the details of your deal/commission related. The integration with Sales Force seems to work pretty well and data are displayed in real time once processed. Overall very satisfied about the tool.

As Spiff user I'm use it to monitor and approve monthly commissions, and despite complex metrics, are presented in a clear view

  • On user dashboard isn't easy to land exactly where you need to approve a content.
I've only experience as user, sales that needs to check and approve monthly commissions calculated by our director. I don't know on which other scenario should be used because I don't know how it works it backend

We use Spiff to show commissions of the Sales and Customer Success teams. Sales gets a monthly update in Spiff of their expected commissions, and the CS team gets a quarterly update.

Spiff is great for users who would like to see their monthly commission amounts. The sales team gets an accurate calculation each month of the sales they made and where their commission is coming from that can be verified every month for accuracy. The CS team gets quarterly commissions, and I find it is less helpful because it only calculates at the end of each quarter, rather than updating on an ongoing basis to see what your commission could be if all continues to go well.

Spiff makes it easy to get our monthly commissions in a timely manner with very little effort involved. It automates all the manual entries we used to make on excel sheets and makes the approval chain much smoother. Approving statements has never been easier with spiff - highly recommend Spiff to any organization with a large sales team.

Best suited for a well performing teams with an outdated commission payout system. Saves the team from manually paying out each rep every month which can be a very long and tedious process. With a sales team of 30+ reps a tool like Spiff is a must have every month. If you only have a few sales reps then Spiff may not be worth it for you.

Spiff is used by my organization to disburse the sales incentive earned. Earlier the organization was facing challenges as the earlier software couldn't be customized to the sales model my org had in place. Spiff is easily accustomed to our requirements and has made the payroll department's job much easier. Not just that, 3very sales rep is now able to track their earning by simply logging into their profile and monitoring their incentives. Huge difference!!
  • It can be integrated with SalesForce very easily.
  • The opportunities with their incentive values can be monitored on Spiff very easily.
  • Every user has the right to check his or her earning. Historical data can also be checked.
  • A currency converter feature can be included. Since my incentive is calculated in USD but disbursed in INR, it would be more helpful for me to know the conversion rate used.
  • Data export in CSV feature should be included
  • In case of any discrepancy, contact to payroll team feature should be included.
I have already explained how this is helping my org and its employees currently. Transitioning from an earlier model to Spiff this year has been nothing but a blessing.

I use Spiff weekly to check my commissions and monthly to analyze the trend. This helps me understand if I am hitting my team and personal goals. The UI is so easy to manage which makes the level of transparency seem so normal which I know becomes difficult for others to assess when they don't have something like Spiff as a resource. Surprisingly, I found myself using Spiff when I was filing my taxes this year.
  • Transparency: data is digestible
  • Organization: data is accessible and easily located
  • Impactful: data is cherished by many of my colleagues not only ADRs
  • End of Year review? Something like Spotify but that highlights are best weeks or months? That way we can go back and analyze quarter efforts or seasonal changes.
This has proven to be impactful because of how much it is used by my peers. Innovative in its transparency because it makes what used to be stored in HR files very accessible.

We use Spiff in our sales team. It helps us acknowledge how much I am going to make as a salesperson each month. It allows me to plan my personal finances effectively.

It is really great for a salesperson whose lively hood is all based on commissions. At the end of the quarter, when I am looking at my future budget and trying to plan for how I can spend money in the next few months (i.e., going on trips and having extra spending money), it can be challenging to add it all up because there are different tier percentages. Spiff helps me track that and makes it really easy to put together a budget that will fit my lifestyle.

Spiff was able to allow us to move form an complex spreadsheet driven commission process to an automated and transparent process. Spiff took our hours of commission reviews per month and allows the users to see almost real time commissions as opportunities close. The implementation process was great with the pro services team at Spiff. I would highly recommend this platform.

Our company uses Spiff specifically for monthly bonus pay. It is a perfect solution for us as many of our employees receive a bonus for each file they complete.

Before Spiff, I have no view into what to expect for commission each quarter. Spiff has made it simple for me to track expected commission and allows me to drill in to see the data behind the percentages. I also can access Spiff via SSO from my phone which is very helpful.

Spiff very helpful for users that need to track their commissions in a sales role. Users that do not have access to advanced reporting in other sales data tools (ie: salesforce) it is needed to track progress against quota. Spiff is not needed for users not in a quota carrying role.

I use Spiff on a weekly basis to make sure the deals I am closing are showing up accurately for my commissions and is a much better system to have in place rather than not having any visibility until the commission checks come in.

We used Spiff to help our teams understand how they are measured and paid on their variable compensation model within our Customer Success department. Reps can measure their monthly / quarterly / and annual progress to plan and it takes the guess work out of what their compensation might look like.

Spiff has been a blessing to our company! Before we started using Spiff, we used to get our commissions on an Excel sheet. Now we're able to see every detail and stay up to date with our opps and the commission that corresponds.

Spiff has been great for my team to track commissions paid out monthly. We used to do it all via excel and the process for approvals too forever! With Spiff, we can manually add any adjustments which eases a lot of the work load. Sales reps are also able to track their progression for the month which helps keep the team motivated! We love Spiff!

  • Not too sure - haven't come across anything particularly wrong.
Spiff has generally helped us in all areas around calculating commissions - its really easy to use for end users and we couldn't be happier.

Honestly cant think of any points where spiff hasn't helped us in this area.
